Invitation
We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney, the beautiful city on the harbour, to join with us in exploring the latest advances in sentinel node technology. New approaches in translational research will be discussed and a series of consensus conferences will set the standard of care in sentinel node biopsy for several important cancers. Novel imaging methods will be explained and demonstrated. This conference will provide an important focus for advancing our understanding of the metastatic process in regional lymph nodes.

Meeting Logo Description

The Blue Tongue Lizard is an animal unique to Australia and is especially common in the 2008 Meeting location, Sydney. Its distinguishing colourings and unusual blue tongue make the Blue Tongue Lizard a very distinctive creature. The lizard uses its blue tongue to locate food just as blue dye locates the sentinel node. The innovative and unique procedure of Sentinel Node biopsy is reflected in this most unusual Australian animal.
